A man who suffers from insomnia meets an anarchist soap maker in a chance incounter. The two become friends and develop a new form of therepy, beating each other up. Their idea catches on, and Fight Club expands to dozens of cities across America. Everything is great until an eccentric woman named Marla splits the two up, and their club spirals way out of control.

An awesome movie with excellent performances and wonderful cinematography. This movie is the perfect modern version of Catcher in the Rye. Fight Club offers some of the best dialouge I have ever heard and really takes you into the mind of two psycos. The cammera work is ground breakingly original, and the voice over by Edward Norton fits his character's personality, and the feel of the movie perfectly.
If you have never seen Fight Club, or have never even heard of it, go rent it, then buy it. A lot of people I have talked to didn't get the first 20 minutes, and turned it off. Stay with it, because it has the best ending in recent years. Of course if you don't get the first 20 minutes of this movie, you don't deserve to view a work of art like this.
